How to apply for a grant.

We provide grants to individuals and organisations of amounts up to about $1000. In order to be eligible to receive a grant, you must complete an application form and explain how the grant will align with the Anna Wearne Trust's aims and objectives.

We can make grants directly to individuals or via the Australian Community Foundation (ACF) from the Anna Wearne Fund. For grants made via the ACF, the grant recipient must be endorsed as a deductible gift recipient with income tax exemption, and the grant itself must be approved by the trustees of ACF.

We generally require two to three months to review and respond to grant applications. If your application is successful, you will only receive your funds after that time. Please ensure that you account for this timing when making a grant application. If you have not provided all required information in your grant application form, we may not be able to process your application, or the processing of your application may take additional time to complete.
